What early access provides

CampSouth helps campers discover campsites across Southern Africa, starting with South Africa, and lets campsite owners submit and manage listings. Features are still being tested. Listings labelled Demo are fictional, with illustrative photographs. Real owner listings are separate; publication does not guarantee that every statement has been independently verified.

Demonstration bookings are not reservations

Live payments are not available. Any TEST PAYMENT or simulated booking is a demonstration: no money is collected, no owner payout is made and no accommodation is confirmed. Do not travel based on a demonstration confirmation. Make any genuine stay arrangements directly with the campsite while live booking is unavailable.

Displayed availability can change, particularly where external calendars are involved. Calendar imports are asynchronous. A search result, price estimate or temporary hold is not a confirmed reservation. Live booking, cancellation and refund terms will need to be published before real payments are enabled.

Your account and submissions

Provide accurate account details, protect your sign-in credentials and do not attempt to access another person’s private information. Owners should only submit listings they are authorised to manage and content they have permission to publish. Keep site quantities, prices, access requirements, facilities, location and availability accurate. Do not add misleading Google links or expose guest information in public content.

Exact public coordinates and external links can reveal a campsite’s location. Approximate pins show an area, not an entrance or safe route. Verify access instructions with the owner before travelling. CampSouth may restrict abusive accounts or misleading content while investigating a concern.

Planned commercial model

The intended standard commission is 8% of the advertised booking value, included in that price. The owner allocation is 92%, subject to cent rounding and any separately agreed adjustments. CampSouth bears payment gateway processing fees from its commission. There is no extra customer platform fee, monthly subscription, setup fee or separate owner processing fee. These figures do not make demonstration balances payable.

Live payments and settlement remain subject to provider approval, verified owner onboarding and separately approved operating arrangements. No live-payment service is offered by these early-access terms.

Google Maps and other services

Where Google Maps features are enabled, their use is subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, incorporated into these terms for those features. Google handles information under its Privacy Policy. Google ratings are attributed third-party information, not CampSouth endorsements. Do not remove attribution or misuse Google content.

External websites and WhatsApp links are governed by their respective services. CampSouth does not send a WhatsApp message merely because you open a sharing link.
